An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Infection Prevention and Control Lead Nurse to join our Nursing Services Team. This role will require the successful candidate to act as the Infection Prevention and Control Lead at The Children’s Trust and provide clear, visible leadership for Infection Prevention and Control, coordinating organisational responses to infection prevention or outbreaks.
You will act as a source of specialist knowledge in all matters related to Infection Prevention and Control, to reduce the incidence of Infection across the organisation through risk assessment, surveillance, audit, intervention, education and development of protocols, policies, and guidance to ensure provision of a safe environment for staff, volunteers, children, young people, family member’s and visitors.
