An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Nurse to join The Children’s Trust School. As the School Nurse, you will report directly to the School’s Director of Education and will be based within our non-maintained special school for children with complex education, health, care, and therapeutic needs.
Working in collaboration with the Lead School Nurse and our Multidisciplinary Team your role will be to provide clinical supervision for members of the school team, supporting children and young people with complex health needs, whilst working in partnership with their families.
For this role you will need to be a qualified Nurse (equivalent to Band 6), and it is essential that you have experience of working with children with complex health needs. Previous experience of special school nursing and an understanding of the Education agenda for Children & Young People is desirable.
You will need to be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with the ability to demonstrate a flexible attitude to competing commitments to workload. Our ambition is for all children with brain injury and neurodisability to have the opportunity to live the best life possible.
