Thank you for your interest in working at The Children’s Trust; we are delighted that you have chosen to apply for a role with us. Throughout the application process you will receive instant feedback, and your application will remain anonymous until you decide to submit it.

There are two steps in the process where you will have the opportunity to:

  • Tell us about yourself, and;
    • Complete the application form and attach your CV in support of your application (should you wish to)

Please note: 

  • As part of your application, you will be required to provide a valid email address, so that we may contact you throughout the recruitment process. If you do not have a valid email address, you can obtain one by visiting a web based email provider (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo) and following the relevant set-up instructions provided.
  • You will need to activate your account (via the activation email that we send you) so that we may access your completed application. Please ensure that you activate your account as soon as possible.
  • The Children’s Trust carries out Online Searches for all shortlisted candidates prior to interview (in order to comply with Statutory Child Protection & Safeguarding Guidance). These are carried out by a person who is independent of the interview and selection process, and focus on relevant information returned via searches of the candidate name (and variations thereof). Social media searches are also carried out but are limited to professional platforms such as LinkedIn. Any concerns relating to suitability for work with children and young people will be forwarded to the interview panel, for discussion during the interview.
